Evenheat Studio Pro
with Analog Pyrometer
The Studio Pro is the latest addition to the Evenheat line of personal sized kilns and features the new Dual
Access Design. The Dual Access Design combines traditional front and top loading features into one, truly revolutionary kiln.
Entering the firing chamber through the front gives wide open access directly to the kiln floor - perfect for precision
placement of your project. Front access also allows for the use of manipulation tools that require a horizontal approach such as raking.
Entering the firing chamber through the top is excellent for venting and is also preferred for many loading techniques. Top
access also allows for the use of manipulation tools requiring a vertical approach such as embossing.
The Studio Pro gives you all the advantages of both front and top access in a single, dual hinged design that's
butter smooth and precise.
Built-in, Multi-Position Lid Vent System - The Studio Pro is fitted with a two position lid vent. Lid venting
is great when your firing off adhesives or binders. It's also great for speeding up the cooling process. The lid vent
on the Studio Pro positions the lid at approximately 1/2" and 1". Just lift and swivel to the height you want. Gone are
the days of using a post for venting!
The Studio Pro offers more in performance and flexibility than any other design. It
is truly one incredible kiln.

Features,
Specifications and Other Fun Stuff:
Control Options
The Studio Pro is equipped with an infinite switch temperature control
and a pyrometer. The infinite switch works much the same as a stove switch in that it allows the user to set the heat from
a low position to a high position and everywhere in between. Hence the
name "Infinite". This switch offers much more control than standard
"Low-Medium-High" switch which only offers three heat settings.
It also includes a pilot light that illuminates with the kiln is on.
A Pyrometer is like a high temperature version of the thermometer.
Connected to the pyrometer is a thermocouple. This thermocouple is the temperature sensor. It is
inserted into the firing chamber. The thermocouple produces a very low voltage which changes depending upon the temperature
seen at the tip of the thermocouple. This voltage is applied to the pyrometer which reacts
by moving or deflecting the needle or changing the digital display.

Firing Chamber Dimensions and Options:
Firing chamber dimensions are 8" long x 8" wide x 4.5" deep.
Voltage Considerations:
Designed to work from a typical 120V household receptacle,
1440W, 12A.
Suitability:
All glass related firing up to 1800°F (982°C), such as painting, fusing, slumping, Pate
de Verre, etc.. The Studio Pro is also very useful for testing compatibility and seminar use. Every glass artist should
have at least one of these in their studio.
