Ceramic Fiber Blanket
Hot glass beads must cool slowly or they may crack from thermal shock.
Place your hot beads between these two 6” x12” blankets until they have
cooled to room temperature. (Helpful Hint: Wrap the two blankets together
with duct tape and cut them apart. This will keep the fibers from falling
apart while handling them.)

Back Magic 975°
Add shine to the back side of your fused or bent pieces. Apply overglaze and fire to 975°F.
Because it matures well below slumping temperatures, the back side can be
fired without the front side picking up any texture from the kiln shelf.
Will not eliminate texture but it will make most surfaces smoother with a slight gloss. 4 oz. bottle.
For
use after first slumping process. Not recommended for food bearing surfaces.
