All Lamp Base Specialty (LBS) bases come completely wired with solid brass hardware that has been antiqued to match the finish of the base. The smaller bases are perfect for panel lamps and small Tiffany styles. The larger bases with the 3 and 4 light clusters are perfect for large Tiffany Lampshades.

How to match the perfect base to your lampshade The rule of thumb for picking a lamp base for your shade is as follows. The diameter of the shade equals the base height without the harp or cluster. Remember lamp bases with harps are measured to the base of the socket their measurement does not include the height of the harp. Lamp bases with clusters are measured to the top of the cluster so you must subtract the height of the cluster to find the appropriate size base. (most 3-light and 4-light clusters are 6” tall plus a 3” threaded rod). Happy lamp building.
