The Insta-Heat iron is built with a high-tech ceramic heating element instead of the more common wound-wire heating element. The ceramic heater actually extends into the soldering tip for maximum efficiency. The Insta-Heat iron will be ready to solder in 30 to 45 seconds. It has a maximum temperature of 850°.
