What is murrine? They are colored patterns or images made in glass canes, revealed when cut into thin cross-sections.
These small, intricate, often floral-patterned slices are arranged, heated, and fused to create vibrant, intricate,
or
mosaic-like artwork, famously revived by Venetian Murano glassmakers.
