Van Gogh Glass is a unique glass in that it is clear glue chip glass that is painted on the back with metallic automotive paint.
This allows the fern-like pattern of the glue chip glass to be accentuated and creates an unusual, striking effect. The metallic
paint on the back is covered by black paint that is similar to mirror backing, so the glass is
reflective, completely opaque, and has mirror-like depth.
It is completely smooth on the front which make it wonderful for mosaics or adding a dramatic accent to your next stained glass panel.
All Van Gogh glass is handmade, which means actual glass may vary slightly from photo. This glass is great for
mosaic glass projects, but it is not fusible. This glass is not
intended to have light transmitted from behind it.

Most people love Van Gogh glass for its reflective beauty, but there is another
side to it. Artist Russell Whitt found that he
could use the fact that Van Gogh allows light through to his advantage.
This Batman symbol is surrounded by Copper Van Gogh and the panel is in a light
box with a piece of red plexi-glass behind it. Illuminate the box and
